Pari Island Resident Initiated a Reading Park

To foster interest in reading, especially against children, a resident in Pari Island, South Seribu Islands initiated a reading park.

In the reading park, every children can reading while playing. Long time ago, we just have a few books and should buy by ourselves

"In the reading park, every children can reading while playing. Long time ago, we just have a few books and should buy by ourselves. And now, we continue to receive aid from communities and individuals,' expressed Badariyah, an owner of a reading park at RT 02/03 Pari Island Urban Village, Saturday (5/28).

She continued, besides reading, they can also be coloring, listening to stories and playing on the beach when there are volunteers who come.

Reading Park Built in Central Jakarta

Usually, children are always coming because they are more fun learning and playing live in the wild.

"For everyday, they always visit after school to read books. The park is crowded every holiday like this," she said.
